What this service is, who actually does the cleaning, and the limits of everything published here. Effective September 6, 2026.
AikenCarpetCleaning.com is a referral service. It connects homeowners, renters and businesses in Aiken and Aiken County, South Carolina with local carpet, rug, upholstery and tile cleaning providers.
We are not a cleaning company. We do not own trucks, we do not employ technicians, and no member of this business will arrive at your door with a wand in hand. What we do is take your call, understand the job, and put you in front of a provider who works in your area and handles that kind of work.
That distinction matters for everything else on this page, so it comes first.
You call and describe the job — the rooms, the condition, what has gone wrong. That information is used to identify a provider who covers your area and handles that type of work, and to put the two of you in contact. From that point the conversation about price, scheduling and the work itself is between you and them.
Be clear about what that does and does not involve. Being connected through this service does not mean we have inspected a provider's previous work, verified their insurance on your behalf, confirmed their licensing or certifications, or independently assessed the quality of what they do. Unless we have told you otherwise in writing about a specific provider, assume none of that has been checked and satisfy yourself directly.
Availability is not guaranteed. We cannot promise that a provider will be available for your job, your area, your timeframe or your budget, or that you will be connected with anyone at all. Same-day and next-day availability described elsewhere on this site reflects what providers typically offer, not a commitment we are in a position to make on their behalf.
The cleaning is carried out by an independent provider. They are a separate business. They set their own prices, run their own equipment, carry their own insurance, hire their own staff and are responsible for the standard of the work they perform.
They are not our employees, our agents, our partners or our subcontractors, and we do not supervise or direct how they do the job. When you book, the agreement to clean your carpet is between you and that provider — not between you and us.
If the work is excellent, that is to their credit. If it is not, the responsibility is theirs, though we would still want to hear about it.
We do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, safety or outcome of work performed by any provider listed, referred or connected through this site. We make no promise that a given provider is licensed, insured, bonded, certified or qualified for your particular job.
Nothing on this site should be read as an endorsement, a recommendation, a certification or a warranty of any provider. Being reachable through this site is not a seal of approval.
Before work begins, verify for yourself what matters to you — proof of insurance, licensing, IICRC or other certification, references, how long they have operated. Ask directly, and ask for it in writing. It is your property and your money.
This should be plain rather than buried. We may be paid by providers for connecting them with customers — typically per call, per lead or under a similar arrangement.
That means a commercial relationship exists between this site and the providers you may be connected with, and you should factor that in when reading anything here. A provider appearing through this service reflects that arrangement, not an independent assessment that they are the best available in Aiken.
You are never charged by us. Whatever you pay, you pay to the provider for the work they do.
The guidance published here — how fiber types behave, why carpet re-soils, dry times, seasonal advice, what does and does not respond to cleaning — is general information written to be useful and accurate. It is not a professional assessment of your carpet, your rug or your property.
Carpet varies enormously. Construction, age, fiber, backing, prior treatments and what has been spilled on it all change what is true in a specific case. Something correct for most nylon broadloom may be wrong for the piece in your hallway. Do not treat a general article as a substitute for having someone qualified look at the actual item.

Every figure and range on this site, including everything on the pricing page, is illustrative. It exists to give you a rough sense of what carpet cleaning costs in this area so you can decide whether to make a call.
It is not a quote, not an offer and not binding on us or on any provider. Providers set their own prices independently. The only figure that counts is the one the provider gives you for your job, and you should confirm it with them directly before work starts.
Carpet cleaning is not a predictable process with a guaranteed outcome. Results depend on fiber type, age, how long a stain has been there, what caused it, what was already tried on it, and the condition of the backing and pad underneath.
Some things do not come out. Pile reversal, permanent dye loss, bleach damage, burns and worn-through fiber are wear rather than soil, and no amount of cleaning reverses them. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise that a particular stain will be removed or that carpet will be restored to a particular condition.
At the time of writing, no customer reviews or testimonials are published on this site. If any are added later they will be real, from real customers, and not written, edited or purchased to look favorable. Nothing invented will be presented as a genuine customer experience.
The same applies to photographs. Any before-and-after images published will be of actual work rather than stock photography presented as ours, and they illustrate a particular result on a particular carpet. Yours may differ — fiber, age, the nature of the stain and how long it has been there all change what is achievable.
Case studies or worked examples on this site that describe a typical situation rather than a specific customer are labeled as illustrative where they appear.
This is not an emergency service. If you have an active leak, standing water, a gas smell, exposed electrical hazard or anything presenting a risk to health or safety, contact the appropriate emergency service or a licensed remediation contractor first. Do not wait on a referral.
Suspected mold, sewage contamination and structural water damage are specialist trades with their own licensing. Carpet cleaning is not remediation and should not be treated as a substitute for it.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing here removes rights you have under South Carolina or federal consumer law.
You decide who works in your home. Before agreeing to anything with a provider, it is reasonable to ask for proof of insurance, confirm what the quoted price includes, get the scope in writing, understand what happens if something is damaged, and check how they handle complaints.

If a provider fell short. Raise it with them first — they did the work and they are the ones who can put it right. Then tell us what happened. We cannot arbitrate a dispute between you and a separate business, order a refund or compel anyone to return, but we do record it, and a provider who generates repeated complaints stops being referred through this service.
